The interface adapter is designed for receiving/ transmitting data in ASTERIX format over:
- Ethernet;
- HDLC link layer protocol;
- RS-232 serial protocol;
- via modems over physical (telephone) lines.
There is a capability to modly fields in the ASTERIX format "on-the-go".
Optionally, a different data format may be supported. The product operates under OS Linux and is available for management and configuration using remote access technology.

Additional functions of Interface Adapter
The adapter is made on the basis of a minicomputer and allows additionally to:
- record broadcast data;
- route received / transmitted data;
- expand the field surveillance for Automated Air Traffic Control System (ATCS) units by combining data from ADS-B-Out transponders.
